Do you take reservations?

While you won’t find us on the mainstream reservation apps, mainly because we are dinosaurs and don’t know how to use them, we ARE always glad to accommodate reservation requests when we can.  Just give us a ring and ask to speak with a member of our team.  Typically, it’s really only necessary to make a reservation for groups over 6 people. 

Do I need a reservation?

Not at all.  We treat walk-up guests with priority and we try to keep wait times reasonable.  And if you do have to wait, we have a full-service bar and plenty of outdoor areas around the restaurant to enjoy while you are waiting. 

Can you accommodate large parties?

By all means, YES we can.  Give us a ring at 423-475-5350 and we will get you set up. 

Do you have outdoor seating?

We have 2 outdoor patio options for guest seating.

Are your burgers ACTUALLY a big deal? 

We didn’t want to say it…but yes.  We think they are.

Do I need to be a Millennial to eat here?

Absolutely not.  Burgers don’t discriminate, and neither do we.

Is it weird if I order the same burger every time?

Not weird at all.  That’s what we call total commitment.  We are here for it. 

Do you serve alcohol?

We are predominantly a bourbon & whiskey bar, but we have a full bar with a large selection of bourbons & whiskeys from all over the world. We have a large selection of local craft beers on tap as well as some really awesome cocktails on our Specialty Drinks menu that are worth checking out.  We are low-key famous for our High Tea. 

What’s the best bourbon or whiskey on the menu?

The owners, Taylor and Mike Monen, love Angel’s Envy Rye.  But, we are super partial to EVERYTHING that our friends over at Chattanooga Whiskey make.  And if you can get your hands on a Pappy 15 year while you are here, you won’t regret it. 

Do you have wifi?

Yes.  But we likely forgot the password.

Do you have TVs?

Yes, we do – we have multiple TVs in our bar area as well as on our back patio.  Don’t be afraid to request a channel from one our team members while you are here.  And we apologize in advance if the TV was accidentally left on Peppa Pig.

Do you have a Happy Hour?

Yes – Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm we offer $5 pints of Five Wits Draft Beer

Tuesdays:  ½ price High Tea

Wednesdays:  $2 off Whiskey Flights

Thursdays:  ½ price Whiskey Smash and Orange Crush cocktails

Fridays:  $3 Well Liquors and $5 Fireball Shots

How do you handle food allergies and dietary restrictions?

Seriously.  Like, for real.  Our team is trained to treat all dietary preferences and allergies with the same level of attention and care.  Just let us know if you have a food allergy and/or any dietary restrictions, questions or needs and our team is here to help. 

I’m vegan.  Can I eat here?

Big time.  You will see items on the menu that are labeled as “vegan” without any modifications needed as well as items that are labeled “vegan option available”. Our management team is always excited to help with any dietary restrictions or preferences, so feel free to ask them to guide you through the menu on your visit. 

Yeah, but will I be laughed at if I order a vegan burger? 

No way! One of the owners is vegan and she does this all the time.  Pro tip from Taylor Monen: get the New Mexico Green Chili Cheeseburger made vegan.  That’s her favorite. 

Do you offer gluten free options?

Absolutely.  We offer both lettuce wraps and gluten free buns and most of our burgers can be modified to be gluten free.  Again, ask for a manager when you visit, and they can guide you through ordering. 

Is your patio pet friendly?

We do indeed have pet friendly outdoor seating! We welcome leashed, well-behaved pets on our front patio.  Just make sure to let us know that you have your furry friend with you so we can seat you in the right spot.  And of course, service animals are always welcome.

Do you cater?

No, we do not.  We are 15 years in and still trying to figure out how to serve burgers INSIDE of the restaurant. 

What exactly does it mean if I order my burger “pink”?

Hopefully it means that we didn’t overcook your burger.

Where do I park?

There is PLENTY of FREE on-street parking all around our restaurant and throughout the Southside.  There is also a paid parking lot directly behind us that is very convenient too. And we have a bike rack in front of our patio on West 13th Street. 

Do you do anything for birthdays?

Yes!  Free Hand-Spun Milkshake to celebrate your big day!

What are your hours of operation?

Urban Stack is open daily from 11am-10pm, serving lunch and dinner in downtown Chattanooga.
